The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 男性导演拍恐男片总给人一种略显刻意的违和感
比预想的好太多，有一流独特的影调，有鲜明的态度和主张，情节虽被极度简化，但更强调氛围和符号化的隐喻。A24的片子一直给我“人狠话不多”的感觉，身为男性比女性更极端的揭露男性的恶，包括伴侣间的情感霸凌，陌生人粗暴的冒犯，借宗教之名假虔诚真淫欲，露骨的对女性肉体的渴望……最后一幕也足够硬核，足以载入cult片史册。

😨女性研究很多了，来点男性研究。孤雄生殖好。
中间一度给我看笑了，主要是男人受伤或者死我都没法共情，干外科又看惯了这些血腥，最后那个套娃可能还真是男人想要的。闺蜜还是很太阳的，但是怀着孕我就突然想到这些傻缺男都是女人生的，这比这个片子让我难受多了。
像是Kaufman的劇情，再配Garland的美學，太拼貼了🤯
喜欢这个故事…………… 透露着一股绝望又残忍的诗意
