The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 3.8吧。剧情是好的，后面反转好评，前面略拖拉。立意是好的，讽刺社会现象。但是细节处理的不好，特别是台词和过场。

剧本很扎实，前面的铺垫初看有点拖沓，却在后半段起了巨大的作用。信息化时代，地球果然扁平化了，那些发生在其他国度的事情，就像某些投影…
电影拍摄手法不行，节奏很怪，配乐也是乱七八糟的，莫名其妙地悬疑，莫名其妙地煽情MV，感觉导演好像没怎么拍过电影。
这真的是处女作吗？
看出来导演的野心了，逆转裁判那段特别好，但是前后太多内容是更多的是给国民看的，外国人看起来会有点没那么容易共情。和故事相比，人物就有点脸谱。

弄堂开出解语花。阿姆斯特朗说得好，你们男男女女的一小步，却是中国电影创作自由的一大步。只是如此摩登洋气的故事，只能发生在上海...吗？

节奏太慢了，法庭对轰开始部分各个角色的描写太不专业了，故事各种转折也很粗糙。
