The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 这是典型的好莱坞年度左翼电影。这几年几乎每年都有这样一部左翼政治理念的电影，例如聚焦、华盛顿邮报。拍摄手法都是纪实冷峻、都是大牌云集，明显不为了票房就冲着各类奖项的政治宣言，像是一个每年必做的功课。
索金的剧本和剪辑依然出色，密集的信息量依然带来了等量的爽感，外加这样的全明星卡司拍法庭戏真的好奢侈。最后有点《辩护人》那味儿了。敬佩这样的一群斗士们。

艾伦索金的法庭戏真的好看，把原来史上一笔糊涂账拍的条理清晰，电影和现实交替剪辑的抗议戏最为震撼，现实永远比电影最为刺激
情绪是在的，也理应被调动，但并不是每次站起来都要配乐慷慨激昂一番的，Sorkin做导演就有点太陶醉自己了，以至于我反而想看个纪录片冷静冷静。
