The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 主题、演员、音乐、灯光、色调，全部完美，角色转换更是牛得没话说。这么短的时间凝聚了这么多种感情，同时没有违和感和生硬感，太强了。
个别价值观或体验和我们确有不同，但仅就这部音乐剧作品本身来说，是一部优秀的作品。
我以为911题材会很沉重，但很积极很快乐啊，有细节有思考，转换很流畅，女机长太帅了。人与人之间的善意好治愈。

2021上映，刚好在疫情期间，又是“911”20周年，演出这样一幕剧再合适不过。来自不同地方讲着不同语言的人，因为怀有同样的普遍的人类的情感而得以相聚相惜。
看的第一部音乐剧
题材本身为音乐剧加成不少，耐听度我觉得一般般
太感动了。就靠几把椅子让观众面前出现了那么多不同的画面。
音乐有感动人心的力量，甘德人真的都这么善良吗？我想以后去看看。
优秀！怎么做到的又感人又温暖又好笑又启发的。纽芬兰，真是一个好好的地方。

从发现是讲911的故事开始就一直流泪，编排得太好了，性别、宗教、种族、人性方面都有涉及但一点都不觉得拥挤，人物特点很鲜明所以角色切换和转场都很自然，立意也很好，既缅怀失去也致敬收获。好喜欢音乐剧群像！
