The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 改编自曾获6项托尼奖音乐剧，探讨青少年抑郁症、自杀和社交网络等。但主创却照搬了大量原版唱段甚至舞台表演形式，没有合理转变成电影应有的视听语言，将说着说着话就唱歌的尴尬感无限放大，而与情节相关且更适合影视化表现的坦诚、私密而孤独的氛围也消失，令人遗憾。
（确实是几乎每个角色都要到学校走廊唱一次……
一年内居然能看到两部AA和摩尔阿姨的合作，冲这个就必须去看周四首映场。这个故事在各种音乐剧改编的电影里算是相对合理了，至少结尾没有强行大团圆。另外Colton Ryan怎么突然变帅了好多？
只有镜头给到咩姨的时候才能让我觉得这是个电影，剧场的感染力生搬硬套进来竟成了无法落地的情绪。三星都给so big/so small
这个剧就是专门为剧粉服务的布景更好的音乐剧，也没有任何更多展开剧情甚至场景。dear小本有艾米亚当斯搭戏了，期待更多大荧幕作品。

音乐剧改电影真的很容易改得四不像…但DEH的故事真的太好了…算是补偿没有的官摄吧
掉san的最大原因不是男主，而是整个用拍恐怖片的手法给了运镜和演员reaction……演员挺努力了
为啥不直接拍官摄？所有的情绪唤起都不是剧情导致的，而是因为听到熟悉的音乐。音乐剧里you’ll be found听到起鸡皮疙瘩，电影里演到同样的桥段竟然没有一点激动的感觉。原卡only us好听到可以单曲循环，这里只想快进。还删掉了康纳爸爸的棒球手套（作为爸爸和儿子的互相救赎）和妈妈爆发的good for you…作为电影来看真的非常白开水。
多一颗🌟给剧中突如其来的两首非常好的新歌。
虽然影视化的效果有点可惜，不过也仍是一个值得大小朋友关注的好故事
