The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 十分硬核和老派的西部电影，全程一直担心儿子会死，没想到最后是比利小子死了。。。
西部片，一个深藏功与名隐身西部农场前江湖杀手的故事。剧情不紧凑，前面有些散漫，许多对话亦不精彩。后面枪战戏不错，比较干脆利落。故事中儿子的设置没必要，反而拖累剧情。
这么一个俗套的故事被导演拍得还挺好看，不容易。
你要惹怒当农民的曾经杀手，那么你就会是被杀的那个人。
西部片也挺好拍的，三五个人。慢吞吞的讲着话，骑个马跑来跑去，开几枪就拍完一部片子了。
总感觉有那么丁点的沉闷和小格局，不过还是有西部味了
就是杰森斯坦森电影常用的隐退大佬扮猪吃老虎的庸俗套路嘛，搞个小孩子挑逗观众情绪，结局大反转，这些手法都玩烂了，换张皮分就能高那么多。看斯坦森打架不比看这糟老头打手枪强？

剧情有点相似 到走出了另一种方式 或许是亲情的温服让人为之改变 也为之有所牵挂
西部扫地僧 背负着过去的包袱，避世隐居，多年的包袱，虽然依然谨慎，却还是向往善良，还是一部有点感人的，演员也没找偶像型的，就是一个历尽风尘形象
中规中矩。儿子长得也太不像老子了。男主很适合演老比利小子。
