The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 这是什么典型的男性幻想啊？电影之神永远不会存在于一部名为电影之神的电影之中。
还有两个比较个人的point。一是很久没见到的今井翼，大眼睛醒目忍不住一直盯着看。一是最后纪念了本来要出演老年主人公的志村健，结合片中后半段的现实背景实在唏嘘...
这部电影不如说是借用了《象棋的故事》。
在现实中揣摩虚构的角色，在脚本中创造真实的人物，电影人独享的幸福。
3.5。北川景子和永野芽郁加一星。女主对男主情感线的部分、男主才华的部分，有些不清楚，倒是老人的相伴相随感人。老夫老妻，相濡以沫，历经几十年风雨同舟。
错付的情感，算不上圆满的圆满。family drama，也关于电影，戳我，不断泪目。
真希望能交代一下桂圓子後來的故事,永野芽郁真是適合扮演昭和時期的女性啊(3.5星)
为保证客户资产密码，男主被纳粹禁锢、折磨，靠着一本棋谱熬过了战争，战后进了精神病院。另一条线即游轮上进行的象棋比赛，应为男主幻想出来的？
改编自茨维格的作品，被纳粹幽禁的男主阴差阳错得到了一本棋谱，在之后的日子靠背棋局来缓解被囚禁的困境。将短篇小说改编成电影，原著精巧的设计对于电影的时长来说难免短了些。免不了会加入不少情节、时空、人物。男主演过《无主之作》中艺术学院里戴帽子的教授，演技超赞。
有点过时的浪漫，但黑白的老电影片段可是完全不过时
电影有不同于小说的魅力，又同质于——生而为人，坚不可摧的精神。
