The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 6.5分。《黑道家族》当时好像就没看完，而且年代久远，如今已经想不起太多了。本作号称前传，但有关TONY的内容并不多，或者说年轻时候的TONY并不能算是主角。另外就是电影似乎又有不少对于六七十年代的缅怀戏码，这更类似美国往事的风格，同黑道家族之类更为写实的黑帮戏码风格不太搭。
故事太过平淡薄弱，转折点也不会让人有惊艳的感觉，浪费了一堆好演员
似乎解答了到底是谁杀了Uncle Dickie这个问题，大概率是Jr，但是其实谁杀了他又重要吗？假如jr没有杀他，黑人黑帮也会去杀他，和Tony最后的结局似乎一样具有了讽刺的色彩，人在做天在看，最后报应依然会找到头上。

三星半，不像前傳的「前傳」。視覺是懷舊的，語境是現代的，但時代元素、借古鑑今的連結度實在弱。關於Tony是怎樣煉成的，亦只是蜻蜓點水。本片最大的作用，可能就是叫觀眾再看一次昔日神劇。

这电影真是又臭又长，题材是不差的，就是节奏拉胯，没有高潮点。
对于who made tony sopranos这个问题也没有得到深刻的解答，感觉对于所有人物的影响都是匆匆带过。
不该这么低分，解谜的部分有点一泻千里，总体来说还是有意思的。很喜欢这个电影的色调。

因为爸爸气头上家暴，把爸爸打死了，最后自己亲手把自己的女人杀了。有过之无不及！只是自白的人怎么死的，不交代一下吗？！
