The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 又好又烂，喜欢对于千禧年美高文化nostalgia的部分，不喜欢暗戳戳讽刺一些政治正确的内容，剧情很普通逻辑很烂，把主旋律想展现出来的自我独立活在当下思想弱化了…
对从小看美国高中青春电影长大的人来说，这个故事加上独领风骚女主的出现就是在告诉我the past is the past, don’t hold on to the past.
女生们一个比一个丑，重返十七岁，让她经历了那么多，明白了成熟的重要性，积极向上，不在乎舞会皇后桂冠，才是真正的成功。

很有趣的设想，社会发展20年，好像日新月异又好像很多都没变。关于政治正确的讨论也很有意思，感觉可以拍的更好。导演太会选演员了，2022届毕业生都好漂亮可爱。
