剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? Pride and Prejudice in Fire Island.虽然狠狠地套了Jane Austen的壳，但是在层出不穷逐渐疲软的gay comedy中，本片依然凭借出色的screenwriting带来了许多亮点。很多非常niche却极为relatable的queer insider jokes,以及从The Ethical Slut到Alice Munro这样看似pretentious但依然有着nodding to the literature gays的温柔.对于男同性恋社群内部问题，identity crisis,以及Asianess in gay culture的探讨，相对轻盈却保持了足够细腻，配合不能再酷的queer OST实在太棒了

    我觉得这个走青少年超自然冒险故事路线的续集比老的两部都要好看，因为整个系列的这个有点中二的背景设定放在一群中学生主角身上突然就真的特！别！合！适！即使不看无穷多的彩蛋也是非常好看的，当然那样的话你也就get不到为什么最后十分钟会那么催泪，以及字幕中间的彩蛋为什么那么好笑……
