The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 有些伤感，有些温柔，又有些私人。好舒服的一部电影。看到他们要去看《鸟人》，结果去晚了，只好跑去看《圆月映花都》，墙上还贴着《德州巴黎》的海报，真是好时光。
“天地如逆旅，我亦是行人。”又一部让我对巴黎产生向往之情的电影。甘斯布好美啊。虽然还是在讲怀旧和迷影情怀，但用得不让人厌烦。音效让人印象深刻。

8.0 不同人生轨迹所交汇的两个瞬间，镜头全然回避了那些生命中的伤痛和遗憾，以温柔的笔触抚摸旧时的伤疤，以记忆的碎片填补内心的缺失，几乎是完全聚焦于个体的，哪怕是那些迷影的时代符号和纪实影像的插入也没有刻意向社会层面靠拢。
