中规中矩的俄方“政治宣传片”，剪得剧情穿插显得有些乱，观感时好时坏，战斗设计依然俄战争片味十足，不至于毫无章法，也有可圈点之处，结尾的书名暗示了那伙人其实是俄军的马甲瓦格纳。看待顿巴斯问题不能单纯以“红军”和“纳粹”加以区别，实际上是北约帝国主义和俄罗斯沙文主义的博弈，包括整个顿巴斯在内的乌东，乃至现在的乌克兰全境的平民都成了“牺牲品”。
