The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 想法十分不错，从克隆人类型中另辟蹊径，不再从争夺、替代、欺骗这些直接的主题中寻求新时代（姑且这么称呼）生命体的答案，而是让他们在人类因故离去之后，完成人类所未完成的任务或使命，很有点像前段时间的《芬奇》，代替人类守护家人（宠物）这样的设定，整部片子节奏舒缓，极其适合消磨午后时光，四颗星。
剧情的发展不仅跟我原本想象的克隆人代替男主不同，甚至还有点温馨

全片最有科技含量的地方就是这神乎其神的记忆移植。

这短短的一生，我们最终都会失去，你不妨大胆一点，面对告别的时候，好好告别。
最后一幕有些感动，但还是觉得一个人的所有记忆和经历都只属于自己，应该都随着自己离去。
科技是把双刃剑，它造福人类的同时，也在消解人类的唯一性。我，是可以替代的，那么他者也是可以替代的，换一个角度来说，还有什么是唯一的需要珍惜的？电影立意是很好，以爱之名去克隆一个自己来继续爱家人，然后孤独地痛苦地离开。也许我或者你都愿意活在这样永远被爱的生活里，但这是在自己不知情的情况下，如果你知道人可以被替代，他者的消失还会给你带来难以承受的痛苦吗？那么还有必要去克隆人吗？
