The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 极致的氛围塑造，构筑了一个支离破碎的黑暗血肉世界，不过除了极强的画面表现力外并没有什么太多的优点，如果单纯的突出实验性跟先锋性，完全可以做成短片，一个多小时的片长却没有一个完整的故事，看到那些宗教隐喻实在是味同嚼蜡

疯神要想用特效做出来，说再过50年也不为过，可惜就是没讲啥东西……叙事很混乱，其实我看一半就看不下去了

在走入高清的视觉之后 一切都不再显得神秘诡谲了
触目惊心的想象力实在令人叹服，跨度30年的绝大成本所形成的独特性也确实不能以一般的文本去要求本片了，某种程度上讲真是一部究极的电影，或许可以说它的存在就是来终结定格动画的？
don’t really care about the story gets a bit boring at times but visually cool as fuck. puppet blood is revolting. too many references. so much work. the set is insane.
但真的好重口味，而且我不觉得电影真正意义上结束了。

顶着部分画面所带来的略微的生理不适，我还是看完了。对于剧情和画面，我只能分别说，我看不懂，但我大受震撼。也许剧情在本片压根不重要，画面才是导演想让你关注的所在。猎奇至极。据说是历时30年才完成的，可敬可敬，但也确实难以称之为好看。
效果很牛逼，风格很诡谲
