The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 彻底把我刀到了。Ankh回来了，映司又没了……当然看完难受是难受，但是映司实现了自己的愿望，弥补了遗憾，也算是一种he吧。不过这个剧场版属实是太短了，一个小时都没有，甚至没有有些日剧一集长……希望十五周年还能有新作吧，给孩子看给大团圆剧情好不好，呜呜呜。
从知道映司会死就开始难过，一开始看映司的视频会哭，演变到看到渡部的脸就止不住眼泪。
反转tv剧情。虽说十年售后但拍得有点不忍直视，唯一能看的皮套还是彩虹结婚鸟…两人一体的时候我这不争气的眼泪…

入坑作 能看到全回归真的很开心 但剧本却让人恶心得想吐
最后死的结局倒是可以接受，但是没有剧版那么顺滑，算是满足一下情怀吧，无语！我喜欢的骑士怎么在后来出场的故事里都死了！不能接受！我都要怀疑渡部秀你是不是真的喜欢凉介了！
三蛋作为我的入坑作满满都是情怀，剧情方面并没有想象中的那么的好，以前的四大恶人出来就跑个龙套，戏份实在太少，拍的时长也太短了，五十多分钟实在串联不起什么好的剧情，煽情戏足够多是真的，结尾跳出钢琴版op一下子给我整破防了
即使这会让我受伤，也不对任何人说起。
但是哭哭
本来也就是三星水准，看在剧组最后一次团聚的份上加一星，十年了主演们都没变化真的很让人开心，但剧情让人难受，最后还把tv版结局给出的团聚的希望彻底粉碎。有条弹幕“为什么映司死了”，后面有人接“因为ankh活了”，真实泪目。
毛利亘宏，你真的不要再当编剧了，能有几个这样的剧组够你嚯嚯啊？你真的对得起演员跟粉丝吗？能全员回归的剧组都少之又少，这就是你对热爱这部作品并且回归的演员们创作出来的剧本吗？演员们还要给你的破剧本安慰观众们，真的求求你跟久弥直树早日退休好吧。

按常理来说，剧版里面映司已经是greed了，他应该不会因为肉体死亡而死亡的，但是我感觉也是庆幸的，映司应该是假面骑士中活得最累的，他自己太无私了，也许死亡对于他来讲也是一句解脱
感觉最后映司不把安库推出去的话，还是能抢救一下的。能说话还能抬手，比当初比奈酱的哥哥的状态不好多了😟
编剧你什么意思？我妈才复活，和我爸见完三面就阴阳两隔了😇三星送给辛苦的秀君和大家。合体皮套还是很美的，只是刚美完两秒就发刀，滚滚滚。
没想到最后 竟然是Share house广告片哈哈哈哈！有被种草生前葬，我也要举办一场。本来葬礼这种形式就没有任何意义，死了才欢聚一堂？
