The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 还是夏目的感觉！！第七季快来吧！唤石篇很元气，可疑访客篇很戳心！
妖怪们为了喝上酒真的很拼命啊。夏目根本是靠本能在活命，赤手空拳就能降妖，玲子的能力就更加可见一斑了。第二篇是有关友情的，猫咪老师那句身处热闹，没准更能感觉寂寞，好有哲理啊。
越来越敷衍了，剧情也是看过转头就忘那种，就两集剧集的长度拼拼凑凑也好意思叫剧场版，除了卖情怀还剩下什么？

夏目还是一样的温暖善良啊，老师也还是可爱，很温暖的动画啊
还是熟悉的配方，还是原来的味道。去电影院看了两集ova的感觉。石起和夏目叨逼的五分钟基本没听懂，全靠联系上下文。
名为剧场版其实是两个短篇。熟悉的味道……小妖的执念，追随的执念，附身的执念，胜负的执念……当然最后都会被平和地化解，本身也是相当平淡的冲突。

夏目反过来和田沼说有什么都可以跟我说的时候，他还是那个曾经那个封闭自己的夏目嘛！6季过去，看着夏目逐渐逐渐的改变，虽然世间尽是不可结之缘，但这些缘的底色都是温柔吧。
看后忘记标记了 夏目已经长成了能够保护他人的样子了 依旧的温暖治愈
就是把两个tv版搬上电影荧幕，唉，看不够~

如果在高三能出第七季，那一定是心灵支柱了
夏目的故事总是很有人情味。无论是和朋友之间，还是和妖怪之间，看完心里总是暖暖的充满了希望和正能量。剧场版分为两个小故事，自卑的跟班小怪，还有和朋友之间的羁绊都非常好看
李小姐的那一夜不过是断了高跟的名牌鞋，格洛瑞亚的那一夜只能是需要收款的画作，蓓蓓的那一夜或许是鲫鱼汤多加的调料。她们围坐在一起，听老乌讲起他的那一夜，原来爱情可以是男人一生的海啸，倾覆一座城的波涛。已经活到了不会为一张素描而心动的年纪，爱情终究属于神话，不如护手霜和点心值得回味。
就是两集拼成了一个剧场版，特意充了会员又充了值，但还是很满足！！！！！！后会有七！！！！！！
每次看夏目友人帐，总感觉是发生在夏日傍晚的故事，一切都很安静，如果可以一直平凡又简单快乐的活着，或许也是一件很好的事
仍然是那个温柔的夏目，仍然是那个温柔的世界啊。两个故事连成的剧场版，想要报恩不负期待的唤石者和对友谊守护与反思的四个人，其实好多年之后具体的故事都记不清了，但是那种感动和治愈的感觉会一直陪伴。娘口三三太可爱了～片尾曲也很好听～同时，也会有一些温和的惆怅，不可结缘，徒增寂寞……
对徐峥刮目相看(更多是导演的功劳)，终于演了一部严肃的电影，每个人物都很立体。私房菜变大锅饭，野猫吃剩饭，文化人讲话就是不一样。这给中年男人的耳光打得又响又灵。
