A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
个人是很喜欢这样精妙的台本的，每一句台词都有存在的意义，不知何时观众就会恍然发觉原来这里在之前早有暗示，原来这一切都是互文。
虽然索金很会抓人物弧光由点及面地大搞情绪多米诺，但就观感而言观众跟本片修妮可皱纹的特效后期以及医美医生一样累。
艾伦•索金又开始卖弄他的台词，《社交网络》的成功给了他一个错觉，开始“炮制”自我感觉良好根本看出睿智而且又密集无比的台词，对观众进行“狂轰乱炸”，这里面他可能忽视的一点是《社交网络》的导演大卫•芬奇，这也再次证明一个好编剧并不一定是好导演。妮可•基德曼的脸被“处理”得过于光滑就像CG人物一般，而且她也没有演出露西尔•鲍尔的俏皮，她在凹造型，索金迷对白，二人倒是般配。
剧情有点无聊，Nicole眼技真的很棒，Lucy对片场布置那么苛刻的原因有点打动我。
妮可演得很卖力，但影片糟糕的妆发和大量的闪回让她这个角色显得很莫名奇妙，尤其是妆发放大了她和露西的年龄差，显得很违和，二封很吃力；反倒是哈维尔·巴登，人物形象更立体更清晰，成熟男人的魅力从举止谈吐间显露，着实迷人。
服化道奖基本拿了，想说妮可还是个好演员，换了眉毛的妮可美太多。种族➕女性的主题实在，太像看国内红色电影——有原罪
剧本太长了，闪回没有必要。妮可演的很努力，但是她的戏被其他演员吃的七七八八。
#观影手记# 2358
从乔布斯开始，🔒金的剧本就越来越差，试图在时间上搞点形式，挖点深度出来，还是那几板斧，结果都陷入一种编剧的匠气，普通又自信……
三星半。妮可好多镜头都很像格伦克洛斯，面孔可以通过各种手段修复和保持，但是她的嗓音出卖了她，已经不如巅峰期了，但她仍然具有优势，围读会一场戏，她高挑的身材，手插在裤袋里挺立，只一个pose就把整场戏完成的相当漂亮。她在演想象拍摄的戏份也演得很好，专注专业令人信服，一般演员演一个过渡，一个状态，她有一种明确的东西在那个表情里，妮可确实是静态表演的高手，那场坐在办公室中望着海报等待的眼神也特别好。高光时刻是最后，丈夫在戏中戏里说lucy,I'm home，她停顿，你不知道她是否真的忘词，但是妮可通过这段戏中戏的等待回响，头定住，眼神扑闪，在情境喜剧里注入了奥斯卡级别的表演。
中规中矩，很工整但没什么爆发点。女神和Javier的妆发都认不本人出来了。
Javier Bardem真是太有魅力了！想说的过多，一股脑塞进来，又是熟悉的多线程叙述，但Kidman的脸显然已经让人无法分辨出时间差，简直不敢相信这是Sokin的剧本！

好啰嗦，好无聊...legend ma发挥偶尔精彩
关注点全放在了妮可基德曼如何扮嫩上了，以至于忽略了剧情和其他演员的表现。
意外的还挺喜欢这部电影的，尤其是本片的剧本和群戏，这部电影其实故事并不很吸引人，甚至前半段可以用有点无聊来形容，但影片的后半段剧本围绕明线和暗线的推动和转折，以及演员的出色发挥让整部电影的观感非常不错，而且我似乎也还挺能接受索金的啰里啰嗦，所以个人还是挺喜欢这部电影的。本片的群戏非常出彩，妮可，巴登的表现都可圈可点，妮可后半段的表演非常出色动人。配角们的表现总的来说也都还不错，JK西蒙斯其实并没有给我一种很出彩的感觉，不过也是很好的完成了任务。
带着了解旧好莱坞演员露西尔.鲍尔为人的低期待来看至少是符合预期的，人物性格和形象抓实了，除此之外就是唇枪舌战式的一锅乱炖了。
说难听点，没看完就有一种“这种片子根本没必要拍出来”的感觉，而且try too hard to be funny。感觉片子想讲三件事情，然后闪回来闪回去一件都没讲好，再穿插进那个年代好莱坞保守和性别歧视，就更是没重点了。针妮更是和巴登一点化学反应都没有，而且针妮真的要少打点针了，脸都完全动不了了。
索金特稿，与《芝加哥七君子》非常像，一样的巧言令色，一样的左右互搏，一样的表达溢出。让我津津有味全盘吃下的，是他在叙事夹层里捏出了那个有形的框，那几片安插在人物周围，左右他们移动空间的厚厚铁板。每撞击一次，都会产生颤动的效果。
不知到地是剧本不行，还是导演职能没做好，个人感觉索金这部片子翻车了。10分钟弃剧。
