The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 50/100 仅有的动作戏在线，其余成分无法支撑得起成本和三位主演，贫瘠的角色火花宣告着影片内部的枯槁互动，罗素兄弟依旧无法逃离美队2之后高欲低创的怪圈
动作还行吧，情节实在太老套了。美国队长太做作。
前半段拍的是个啥？节奏乱七八糟不说，连动作戏都没好好设计过，后半段真的打起来之后稍微找到点感觉。整体就老套且不精致。
实在没看出贵在哪里，特效镜头很多都糊了，实在不像是这个预算级别电影该有的质感，各种无人机航拍都用上了，但硬是没法让观众高潮，节奏相当诡异。文戏乏味就不多说了，就连动作戏也亮点寥寥，硬要挑场有记忆点的动作戏，恐怕就是高司令和安娜对阵丹努什了，二打一的设计还算有点看头，但丹努什毕竟不是“疯狗”雅彦·鲁伊安，缺少那股狠劲儿。曼谷的烟火，视觉上也出彩，只是配套的动作戏打得实在不好看。高司令和美队肉搏的部分，美队玩刀也挺有意思，挨了一顿揍，大喊：“我疼啊！”差点笑喷！相比高司令和安娜，美队的表演算是有所突破了，也能看出，他在表演上加入了很多小细节和肢体设计，但因为角色本身写得太烂，就一蠢笨的模式化反派，没啥其他能展开的空间了，所以单纯靠表演已很难挽救了。
超高成本超低制片成果，老套到梦回90年初。

别要求什么新意，也别谈任何深度，这多热的天气啊你说是不是，不就看个电影嘛？空调一开冷饮一摆，起看！
6.5分。挑出一些重点段落做剪辑，本片应该不错，但实际观感其实看到后来都想快进了。。。有点像《红色通缉令》，都仿佛是网飞直接提取了大数据由AI做出来的剧本。场面动作是够了，基本上每一段都能在经典作品里找到同款，大家来找茬估计也挺有意思。但这种剧情薄弱的设计，就该加快节奏一路推进，免得观众细想，加入的种种回忆之类的根本没必要。最后给这片子盖棺定论的是选角的失败，高司令演这种角色太过忧郁了，而美队又偏偏太阳光，两人都拿错了角色。PS： 别看美队在海报上看似是双雄片，但其实剧情并没有多少，角色也没什么发挥余地，直接摆烂演恶人就是了~~

也不知道是网飞和罗素兄弟到底谁坑了谁，高逼格国际范谍战动作片，网飞史上最大投资，各种场面各种美景各种爆炸，却如走马观花般狗屁不通，发福的高司令和油腻的美队长，扛着rpg移速堪比刺客的安德玛小姐，莫名其妙出场又退场的巴西印度双星，都是啥，搞不懂，这就是所谓的大数据电影吗，罗素兄弟是迪士尼派来卧底网飞的间谍吧，我又懂了！
新星逐渐升起（Julia Butters）。快结局莫名其妙，安娜大狙都架好了你俩要肉搏，好。打完了杰西卡·亨维克出来收人头，安娜那边没动静了？好吧可以强行解释为那边摇人了。总之结尾就是很仓促的感觉。面瘫的高司令还是一如既往的面瘫但吸引人。1080P 22/07/22 哦对了杰西卡·亨维克怎么总接一些很讨人厌的角色、或者说她演出来的感觉给人总是这个演员很讨人厌。
非常喜欢的班底和卡司阵容，但是没办法，归根结底又是网大质感的网大电影，区别就是他们更有钱，也更有工业。罗素兄弟用《灰影人》来证明：能够去电影院看电影是一种精英主义的观念，因为这非常昂贵。所以，这种被创造出来的、我们一直以来坚持的观念————电影院是一个神圣的空间——就是胡说八道。它拒绝了允许所有人进入的理念。数字发行的价值所在，除了推动了多样性之外，就是人们可以分享账户；他们可以用一部电影的票价观看四十个故事。
娱乐性远不如红色通缉令

罗素兄弟将二人被网大绑架并拔掉指甲盖的清洁写入本片中。
高司令这不是特工，是钢铁之躯。在罗素兄弟的衬托下，迈克尔贝的身影显得那么高大。克里斯埃文斯的角色嘴那么臭的同时智商也是一点都没有，还弄个小胡子cosplay碟6的亨利卡维尔。土到掉渣的美学和摄影，毫无亮点的动作戏，网飞再这么投钱给这种导演那真是冤大头了。你把它当2049同人网文看，贴吧水准，但能加一星
除了高司令日渐圆润却依然冷峻的脸蛋儿和令人舔屏的上半身不可取代，其他的…就不做评价了。小女孩儿角色的上线，标志着剧情彻底崩塌，而“跳梁小丑”一样的美队角色，直接让人无语。正反派大决战居然致敬韩国扎刀子片儿，暴露了武术指导在好莱坞稀缺的尴尬现状，“你能从这部电影里找到几部经典动作电影的影子？”怕是这部电影能获得的最高的评价了！
三星半：要他执法、还要他杀人如麻，让他牺牲、还让他交付灵魂。选择让谁死去，却无法保证如何过好人生；甘愿身陷囚笼，就能够解开贪婪逐欲的绳结。视人命如蝼蚁，便只能坠入虚妄的虫洞；为女孩而搏命，延续了冷面杀手优良的传统。生命进入倒数，依旧可以手握致命的引线，无法优雅老去，就去引爆对抗世界的决心。这世界太多灰色地带，重要的是记得自己为何而来。
