The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 23分钟弃，如果真的拍得特别好，只能说给了我一些信心。
很精致的一部电影，干净利落，没有任何一个多余镜头，结尾原创弦乐古筝音乐不错，美术取景很中国美山河美，酒壶擦剑生火是我看众多武侠为首一次是为创新进步，语言对白偏古龙，古龙说的最多的一个字眼“死人”，瞎子对瘸子“傅红雪”，琵琶女对明月，又是另一部天涯明月刀。首尾呼应，剪辑偏现代武侠，叙事风格跟我颇像，很是喜欢，再接再厉。矛盾可再加深打磨一下会更好。
BGM也不错特别是片尾
简约的武侠风，也算是独树一帜。这个世界上最贵的就是公道。
抽出剑那里仿佛又回到千军万马的战场，睁开眼睛太燃了，古典武侠精神。顶级网大。
谢苗总算接到了好电影！
除了故事简陋了些，剧组看起来挺穷的以外其他都不错，最后一战的武指/美术/运镜都很喜欢，谢苗有李连杰那时候的味儿了，整个让我想到座头市，可以拍下去，爱看。

短小精悍。想起了《座头市》。渲染还差点，不错了
故事太简陋了。我觉得中国电影不好看的最主要原因就是编剧不行，导演能凑合，故事不能糊弄。
有点《伸冤人》的味道
一般，但应该支持一下。
叙事不乱，座头市式侠客，是人心中想的那个江湖。
观影二十多年了，我怎么会看这种电影？导演想表达什么？

事了拂衣去，深藏功与名。首尾呼应，演技在线，画面美，最后一场决斗戏的光影黑白分明，没有多余台词，短而有力，刻画的英雄恶人形象都很鲜明，是久违的爽戏。
故事挺简单的，但是效果好，有些场景有点黑泽明电影的感觉
