The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 要是个欧洲片能细腻很多，后半美式处理太随意了点。这个片子能在Disney+上看到也是有点奇幻。
看完恐怖片系列94：新鲜。剧情发展完全能猜得到。刚开始以为是像逃出杀人镇那样的，没有想到居然这么普通。
很难分清在看一部电影还是在看游戏解说，剧本也很拉，，，元素都植入的太生硬了，无论是临阵脱逃的男人，girls help girls，甚至还有黄白黑三色人种，硬的让人尴尬。“去势”桥段属实笑die。某些桥段真的挺变态的，适合催吐。daisy还是很美啊，但是好好选本子plz

6.5/10，节奏有些慢，题材和反转都不算新鲜，演技好评，极度恐惧之中又带着一丝诡异的欢乐，若不是带着手铐，“约会”竟然有一丝浪漫的感觉。无论是约会遇到的直男癌还是走夜路的害怕，关于女性在社会和约会中风险非常真实；网络和现实世界都是最忌交浅言深的，不要轻易相信什么所谓的惊喜，在不了解一个人之前不要暴露太多个人信息，女主的小伙伴简直人间清醒。ps. 男性最大的罪恶大概是让女性对抗女性。
全片真就没一个好男人
好久没看电影了，为了贾玲黄渤去看的，去年李焕英不错。结果非常后悔看了这部，浪费了电影票钱，坐的颈椎都痛。这个电影讲了重病的钢琴教师，在跟贾玲演的外卖员谈恋爱，情节狗血到爆，还打着疫情的噱头真的无语，只有粤菜厨师爷爷和妇产科医生奶奶最后在一起了让我稍微暖心了一点。但真的难看，不值得进电影的电影不推荐。
我个人蛮喜欢的……就是贾玲那对结局有点遗憾🥲虽然剧情很碎但本感性人还是狠狠哭了……疫情快点结束啦！
刚看完，就这个表情😭😭 没有强行煽情，表现得很细腻，所以更感动了。冬天来了，春天就不远了，等奇异的晨光一旦升起，就会消融你头上的云涛。
当潮流爱新鲜，当旁人爱标签？食物链顶级吃什么都合理，那最富有的那1%的人类吃人类是不是也合理啊？人类到底高贵在哪啊？不过也是宇宙尘埃，真有外星人把人类当食物也不足为奇，不跟我们吃猪吃羊一样嘛？不过只吃女人，未免有点性别歧视了。男权社会就算吃人也要吃女人，这么挑食未免，不太礼貌了！
武哥是不是也释然了呢？叶老师的生命用另一种方式延续了…
不惊悚，也不恶心，从男的打包肉的状态能看出他有点洁癖，女主屁股肉被割了一会儿趴着一会儿又能坐着，举手投足间对男主还是情分难了的样子，可能因为塞巴斯蒂安实在太帅了吧。
蠢得要死的奇情片，本以为铺垫了这么多两人感情戏会有点有意思的收尾，没想到竟然还是《逃出绝命镇》，你说这两个人这么般配不让女主彻底爱上吃肉然后离不开男主说不过去啊，眼睛变绿色特效都给了明显意思觉醒了啊！最后老婆又来送人头，太蠢了这片子！
没感受到眼前一亮的东西。 想起我孙子武丸的《杀戮之病》。 女主到最后还问“他结婚了？”。其实当下年轻人就是这样，嘴上说着“讨厌约会”，“单身万岁”，其实内心渴望并幻想着属于自己的爱情……

剧情一般，男女主还算养眼，不过看完了都没发现男主是巴基演的，真的差好多啊
中规中矩女性主义反杀爽片，不过还是挺爽的（。如果艾米锤演男主我能再加一星（不是
男主没看错，女主不是一般人，懂得卧薪尝胆，一击即中，最后反杀也算是以其人之道还治其人之身了。巴基长相太过邻家少了一丝变态的感觉，Daisy又实在不像会一直单身很久的女子。
