上一部給每個角色構建的困境，喪偶式育兒、生意破產、原生家庭、缺乏自信等等，他們的歌唱便有了要挑戰全世界的厚度，而這一部構建的困境呢，資本入侵、不會跳舞、母胎solo、恐高症之類的，簡言之，困境降級了，進而便是對他們為什麼必須要做好那一場show的懷疑，dream a big dream也不足以說服我，萬幸最後他們回到了小鎮。新角色們可以說是一個都沒塑造好，再者，明明歌更多了，卻沒有幾首能真正和劇情結合繼而讓人印象深刻。最後，給一個毫無自我的跟班角色貼上LGBTQ標籤，內心飆出一串髒話。
