The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 用悬疑片的手法拍剧情片，有些部分有点怪怪的，但最后一个拥抱的情感分量很足。
说是能说的得通，但就是觉得有点儿闹着玩儿似的

情感上四星，致敬，毕竟人家能拍出来，在呐喊，即便你知道那光明的结局遥不可及。
话题尖锐，但节奏太慢了，在女性议题之外还想加入新闻伦理、网络暴力之类的话题，但都蜻蜓点水，反倒冲淡了主题，完全没必要加。
还看得下去，就一直想知道女主所求是什么，知道了也就索然无味了。

如果將妹妹改為女兒，感受上會更加虐心，但故事設定的基礎本身就缺乏合理性，所以是妹妹還是女兒就無所謂了。
片尾的数据令人心惊，却又在意料之中，这就是女性生存的世界，这就是男权社会。
生而为女，实在悲苦。
有戏剧冲突，有悬念，有反转，有演技，最重要有内核
含而不露的演出，但一切尽在不言中，真厉害。

一方面剧情狗血，一方面女主深沉内敛的表演和人物性格，真的一点割裂。尤其是镜头语言上突然的暖光突然的虚化，真的就是风格不统一。
…果然有点失望…这玩意儿换故事男主会更牛逼…
