The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 细腻温情的巴黎夜曲，遍布全片的八十年代风格迷人且复古，并带有一种人生终归相识且分离的淡淡惆怅。对侯麦《圆月映花都》的多次指涉都非常惊喜，将其看做一次对饱含无限情愫与浪漫的巴黎八十年代的回忆已经足够动人，更何况甘斯布的气质实在太过贴合。
一家三口和一只小鸟各自修行的故事，最后的20分钟有点多余了，可能是导演私心想给所有人一个完整的结局吧。
《柯南》的密室案件+《驴得水》的社会讽喻+《唐人街探案》的结局反转。啥元素都有，做得也算扎实。这种片子越多，我们的类型片才能发展得越好。支持。
