The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 而真正的完美是不可能的。
芝加哥街头一家裁缝店里一个晚上发生的故事。狭窄的空间里，黑帮们你来我往，英国老裁缝与所雇的年轻女子，与他们周旋。最后枪声响起，鲜血淋漓。片子颇有点老式风格的密室案件故事，悬念很足，气氛紧张，情节层层推进。男主角表演不错，不露声色，不慌不忙，似乎一切在握。

比较中规中矩，想想带点痞气、暗黑、固执、搞笑的北野武，应该可以拍得放飞一点就更好看了。
此前对北野武拍电影之前的人生经历知之甚少，看完这部电影，不得不说北野武滚烫的人生真是充满了传奇色彩啊。
有一些设定没有充分利用。卡司有点剧透…挺好，非常放松欢乐。漂亮女生可以远走高飞看世界啦。
很好的讲师徒的电影，最后的师傅照顾徒弟煽情有点过了，是北野武牛逼人生中的一段。

影片的大部分场景都在裁缝店内部，基本上算是个舞台剧了。
单一场景，话剧电影，依靠对话和巧合层层递进，剧本扎实，酣畅淋漓。Richie有角度像马修古迪， Francis有角度像迈克尔皮特，片尾出字幕，名字里带有O的停留时间稍微久一点，然而最后三秒出现FOCUS时，O却是模糊的
很不错，全方位无死角的不错。

老裁缝气定神闲，通过几方博弈，言语挑逗，成功团灭了黑帮之一，太厉害了。

如果把十三郎作为主角，北野武作为小配角，能挖掘出矛盾冲突远比一个头重脚轻的励志故事要好得多。时代的洪流，个人的悲歌，谐星的刻画，都是靠十三郎呀。
故事的推进其实有些禁不起细敲，但是经不住讲得好看精彩。
