The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 叙事方面比导演前作《兴安岭猎人传说》更成熟，完成度更高。故事虽然无特意之处，但讲述方法还是维持了一定的悬念，国内的网大要是都能有这水准真就不错了。不过，罗生门云云谈不上，只是手法相似。真正的罗生门式叙事说的是不同的人讲同一事件，大同而小异，或半同而半异，本片几个角色讲述的则显然不是一个事件，甚至之间关联都很小。
结局有点强加的意思，太穷了，不过就算这样也在及格线以上了，难得
故事挺好，挺完整，特别是最后一段符合中国传统价值观，恶有恶报，不过谢老板的善报却没见到

两个半小时，但看的时候倒没觉得多长，反而结尾突然：诶？完了？第一次看这种题材的电影，但是是第二次看到桃李的pp了（
修桥补路修瞎眼，杀人放火子孙多
每个镜头的出现都有理由，它们是两个主角每天摆脱不了的梦魇，它们就是因为挥之不去，才会过了十年了还什么都没变——那么地善良、那么地无所谓、那么的痛苦。

故事的确比国内某些大片靠谱，彩蛋加分，群像结局却有些自以为是了
聊斋版的罗生门，当然最后肯定还是没有妖怪而是人性搞的鬼，谨记建国以后妖怪不许成精。PS那个脸上画油彩的戏子神似李佳琦
神神怪怪的事，都是人心里搞出来了的。一个贪念一个欲望，就让多少无辜的人命丧黄泉。苦苦苦，惨惨惨，除了说是命还能如何解释。
值得鼓励的作品，在故事方面的设计很不错，网大能出现这样的作品(而且还是恐怖类型的)已实属不易。
不，这跟制度有毛关系？
大多数情况下，一个好的制作班底对成片还是起积极左右的。
一群没任何名气的人，带着脚镣跳了一个中规中矩的舞，在大陆恐怖片里，算是优秀的，给三星，鼓励！
