The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 难得一见的绘本动画，七个故事，由童真向着现实主义过渡，看完糖水铺好想去吃，个人最喜欢最后一个，熟悉的南京，劳苦大众的众生相
《小兔的问题》《哼将军和哈将军》比较童趣的路线，尤其后者的纸艺风格别具一格。《蒯老伯的糖水铺》《外婆的蓝色铁皮柜轮椅》《翼娃子的星期天》则有更多成年人的视角的温情感觉，各地方言也很好的融入了。
