In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 女主是queen b演得很好，剧情逻辑有点说不通，总体还可以。

真是服了这个女主了，太傻比了，那么喜欢和别人当面对质，然后每次把自己置于危险当中…
整体还是相当不错的，悬疑感很足，故事结构完整，开头闺蜜失踪，抛出悬疑点，中间各种烟雾弹迷惑观众，结尾破案以后一个反转，没什么大毛病，唯一就是有闺蜜被推下海的视频竟然还认错人，但是有一点，导演用一种很欧洲的文艺片很平实的拍法来拍悬疑片，没有体现出什么导演技巧，悬疑点也都在故事结构上，没什么悬疑拍摄技巧，所以看起来怪怪的，有点淡，略可惜，6.9
节奏什么都挺好的……一直到最后的反转，显得看海边监控就确定bad cop也太随意了……

跟着女主视角推进，还是丝丝入扣，情节简洁、节奏还算不错，有几层反转。总体处理得当，是个很解压的轻悬疑电影

虽然不知道翻不翻拍，但是几处反转都平平无奇，也算是常规操作，打发时间还可以
每个人都像有嫌疑的样子，包括女主自己，最后是丈夫也很合理，克罗地亚房屋还挺漂亮，红顶的房屋建筑群，很有特色。
比豆瓣其他评论要好看，因为成人之间的情欲和思想变化很现实，也没有超脱的东西，因为成人世界很少有超脱的东西。我喜欢看
