The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 鹿角怪物与小男孩，这个概念时不时就会被搬上银幕，质量也是just so so .
名字的剧照让人想起汉尼拔，剧情却大相径庭，这是真的有怪物，还会传染，小男孩找的不错，辛苦了，还要投喂爸爸弟弟。
总之本片从氛围设置到剧情一切的一切都显得那么地不合常理到令人烦躁。不过本片给我的感觉其实更像一个现代背景的寓言故事，一首潜藏在美国乡村惨剧故事之下的古典叙事诗。
老师逃避了父权的压迫，回避了弟弟的遭遇，选择性的救助其他人
硬件和技术性方面都很棒，但是故事太草草了。看了半天，就这？ 但导演风格蛮喜欢的
十分套路的恐怖剧，也就是看了前面十几分钟就能猜到后面的剧情，也不是说拍的不好，也不是说演技不好，小男孩演技十分好，but就是没有新意，欧美这种怪兽剧太多太多太多了，一看就知道接下来会发生什么，就好像第一个塑料制品是惊艳世界的，后面的复制只配得到廉价两个字

又是典型美式血肉模糊恶心怪物片，不恐怖，不好看
一直没搞清楚怪物到底是啥，但杀人手段挺恶心的
铺垫过长好像是文艺系恐怖片通病，加上若有若无的惊点直到快结束才到高潮，其实很难感觉到惊悚气氛。

警长最后也变成了食人魔?
导演完全没有把故事拍好，就当做是当地旅游环境宣传片好了
Policeman打不过怪物，一个人女性却能把它捅死，真就主角光环呗。
谁说这是闪灵续集？完全不挨边，除了景色好看，这是一部非常平庸的全是被讽刺好几遍的桥段穿起来的一部烂片
但剧情拖沓，人物行为前后矛盾，高潮剧情戛然而止
