D+ / 对于宏大制作和民俗神话的过度迷恋，基于古典故事的孱弱文本，被配乐，嘶吼，表现主义形式填满并负重累累，对于好莱坞没有任何的破坏性，反而被好莱坞耗尽了电影该有的秘密。
感觉还能够更作者化一点…..我的意思就是那些个明显很好莱坞的感情线动作戏可以再省省…..看完虽然感觉有点被吵到，不过这年头还能做到服化道这么还原的古装片，真的要且看且珍惜，整体观感还是很令人满意的。罗格斯的仪式感和神秘感贯穿了他整个创作生涯，通常来说这类导演的作品不要试图去理解，而要试图去感受。

将王子复仇记移植到北欧，从叙事上看没有大的突破，不过加入了一些神秘和血腥的元素，这让导演在美学风格上能保留自己的主张，也继承了女巫和灯塔那种凛冽暗黑的基调，算是没有被传统完全钳制，拍出了些自己的腔调，选角也不错，比约克演神婆也太合适了。
三星半吧，老莎，看看真实（x）的北欧王子复仇吧（xxx 场景在很克和优衣库出外景之间（。）反复横跳。女性强的部分倒是还看得蛮爽的。
Rather than the story itself, Eggers is more concerned with a certain way of filmmaking - let’s say a certain level of visual intensity and an innate authenticity inherited in folklores and mythologies that makes that type of storytelling the dominant narrative form in western cultures. 跟“启示”中间大概隔了100个“贝奥武夫”，导演还是更擅长拍文艺恐怖片。妮可·基德曼的角色把我给整懵了，开始以为是王子复仇记，到后面居然是...孝庄秘史？？？

杀父夺母之仇，就算仇人逃到天涯海角，也要去报仇。电影拍得挺不错的。节奏很紧凑。不太喜欢的是黑化了男主的母亲。
