The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 4大明星也无法拯救本片的平庸，说为了钱他们才会拍烂片，但不可能同时都缺钱吧，这种剧本和执导水品以及拍烂片所带来的污点，能请动他们其中一个来演本片，投资人就应该烧香拜佛了，难道本片原来是大制作，但因为经费都给大咖当片酬了，所以才导致本片被拍成了明星汇聚的C级片，唯一合理的解释了！
