The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 出人意料的好看，最重要的是把喜剧情节中的加入了很多温情的成分，虽然有一些老套，但是很是能够吸引人，产生共鸣。 但是其中使用少数族裔的文化和生活内容充当故事中的意外之处，虽然惊喜，但是也是老套了。想来想去怎么都有一点似曾相识，原来最开始的不就是诺丁山么？
喜剧还不错，翻拍法国版，好久之前还有一部黄政民演的韩剧 那个傻瓜 也是这个剧情，亚裔导演总会抓住亲情部分，少数族裔里的拉美裔家庭观念和亚洲如出一辙。
