The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 在2星和3星之间反复横跳，特效我觉得是可以的，但文戏真的不行，不论是男主和父亲的，还是后期隧道炸不炸的问题，归根究底是铺垫不够，导致看客会产生一种“真的有那个必要吗？”的灵魂拷问，还有我以为男主是必死的。
中秋的时候去看了这部电影，很感动，不管是父子情还是洪翼舟和卢小靳之间的爱情。最后打电话那一段真的泪崩。最后跳飞机其实我挺能理解的，艺术创作就是很爱夸张嘛，他的形象总是要超出常人更无所不能一些的。
【剧透预警】5.5分吧。一度看得我满脸问号。说是个灾难片，前半段只死了一个消防员。救援部分是父子俩攀岩技术交流大会，我更想看几个不会攀岩的平民是怎么过来的，结果直接略过了。后面又变成了《徒手攀岩》+《斑羚飞渡》
金属情怀加一星，其他的嘛，情节简单，也没有想音乐电影那种有好多歌。还行。
小伙子帅呆了，这要是在80年代，估计就是国际巨星了。在遭遇了一系列的倒霉后，终于在舞台上找到自己。
黄志忠老师本人腿脚不好还拍攀岩戏也是很不容易了。
剧情拉胯！尴尬癌都犯了，太多不合理地方。音效还不错。
借用电影中丁经理一句话：在灾难面前，西方的故事是诺亚方舟；而我们祖先的故事是精卫填海、愚公移山。
一次也没合练就上台了还没出错？我接受不了

高中生重金属就是中二但可爱！
后面的剧情有点尬，从跳直升机开始，包掉了，后来证明包没啥用，自己过去都差点掉下去，老爹是怎么过去的？？？徒手攀岩就算了人家毕竟说是登过珠峰的，珠峰表示受到了侮辱。然后女老班把手机一起送过去不就是想让小情侣生离死别一下吗，然后又拼命的喊他上直升机。之后就是全片最让人惊呆的一幕，竟然直接跳上了飞机。。。那你倒是一开始就跳过去不完事了吗，老爸也不会死了啊。。。
献礼剧灾难片很戳我，当然还有洪工的原因(//̀Д/́/)
作为青春剧，我觉得阔以！三个主角的颜都不错，音乐表现也可。
结尾有点夸张了 不管是突然出现的父亲 还是爆炸前的猛然一跳.. 稍微有点不大能接受。
这部电影我感受到了我们国家铁道兵的精神 默默无闻十几年 只是为了修建好一条铁路 整部电影为铁道兵所感动 为男主父亲的牺牲感动 只是主角的金手指太强大 徒手在雨天攀岩 车子翻下山一点事没有...给人不真实感
中二病孩子的青春片，最后比赛结果讽刺了现在的观众品味堪忧，但是没关系，精神不死，传承不灭
演员阵容虽然不错但全员用力过猛。至于剧本，懒得吐槽。只说两个段落，一个唱山歌，一个父亲敬军礼，这俩镜头尬的我难受。虽然题材好但也不禁得导演编剧这么折腾
