The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 爽就完了，剧情有点bug。。为啥另一个含了放射性物质的男人居然一点事没有
影片结尾看得鼻子发酸，在生命的最后一刻，她终于获得了自由和平静。
整体观感还是不错的，但是注定是一部看完记不住的片子。作为一部女性动作片，剧本虽然是流水线级别的，但是动作戏不错，节奏紧凑，有日式元素，暴力血浆，大姐姐和小姐姐，色彩和音乐也不错，属于无脑爽片。爽度高开低走，最后一战的动作戏，基本全是枪战，还用上了毫无意义的慢镜头，还没有前几场动作戏强。倒是国村隼的武士刀干脆利落。柠檬炸弹的广告做的不错，一度让我以为对女主有大力水手菠菜的功效。杀手复仇阴谋的段子真的是看够了……三星半
文戏完全不能看，只能看打戏，两星，加一星给女演员MEW，毕竟是看着她长大的。

这种开头就让人猜到反派的剧情实在俗套，不过一上来就残血的设定比较少，看个霓虹，看个打架，看个女孩救女孩也还行。
试图用硬朗女主+日本元素打造独特的暴力美学，全都是浮于表面的处理，对标杀死比尔可真的差远了，流水线作品。
比较老套的女主复仇电影，中毒增加了复仇难度，小女孩凸现了女主的温情，日本黑帮的加入和大阪东京城市夜景的展现增加了影片的异域和未来的风格。女主的造型和动作戏都干净利落，全片配乐也不错，总体可以一看，但没有大惊喜。

霓虹街巷极道肉搏枪斗百人斩，黑白会馆断指插喉洒热血，厨房冰箱炊具单挑功夫牛郎，激光瞄准写字间火药派对武士刀国村隼vs浅野忠信……导演剧本都不太行，混血日本妞的演技烂得有点可怕，靠几个老戏骨把文戏撑住，让黑社会来聊《四谷怪谈》之深意顺带批判西方列强殖民主义也只有国村隼才能演得像那么回事；但武指和服化道优秀，特别是前几场打斗；整体观感稍逊《火药奶昔》吧
看得出想造一个女版John Wick，也看得出想蹭一波杀死比尔，很遗憾都失败了。确实，动作爽片没人在乎剧情，但那也是你有动作的前提下。
嗑死我了，爽片。不是动作戏爽，是摆拍凹造型爽。母女档杀手CP我吃。
玛丽·伊丽莎白·温斯特德演的还是蛮英姿飒爽的，伍迪·哈里森能够出演这个倒是角色，也就意味着他最后百分百会跳反，总而言之，这就是个女版的怒火攻心，不过从动作还是语言上，要干净许多，但令人痴迷的暴力美学和番茄酱乐趣，也相应的被减淡了不少。。。。。。

基本没有新意，只是双子杀手对女主印象深刻。杀死比尔，极寒之城，安娜，红雀，超体，黑寡妇，攻壳机动队，又一个大女主，但前25分钟就看不下去了，全靠后面国村隼的文戏撑着，黑帮聊四古怪谈，武士刀一剑封喉
这个题材这两年出了很多，大多是烂片。这部也是。
