The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 一个休斯敦孩子的“少年时代”和他的太空登月经历，没明显的故事线，但每个片段构成了六十年代末美国的生活风情画。很多彩蛋让不同年龄的观影者有身临其境的感觉。

此片當然偏向烏境俄羅斯人，對烏克蘭的極端份子對國內俄羅斯人實行種族滅絕的暴行刻畫頗深入。
但整个片子感觉凌乱松散，没有紧凑感，观感欠佳。

对历史地理时事还算一知半解，但看这电影一半了，硬是还没看明白谁是哪边的（估计和翻译也有关系），不过画面各方面还是精良，

看到奶奶带孙子孙女去看音乐之声竟然泪目，有点奇怪
虽然是动画但是感觉很真实，叙事和画面都让观众觉得亲身经历过一样
沉浸式旅行，在六十年代的休斯顿。真假有些分不清了，这才满足对童年的定义吧。
