The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一分给场面调度，一分给反派，一分给摄影。最出戏的部分就是瞎几把描写我们的警察，冲上去就拿甩棍打诈骗分子，这动作和韩国动作片里的警察一mu一样
打得狠。谢苗的容貌和气质，越来越适合反派角色了。

2、不得不说谢苗近段时间的电影质量有逐渐攀升之势，但其塑造的角色却仍然不尽人意，并且有演技固化之态，就如本片中的“华继良”到不久之后的“李红旗”，两者的人物形象如出一辙，都是“骨子里正义凛然，面子上桀骜不羁”，这类俗不可耐的人物其实早就该退出影视剧的主角市场，沿用至今只能说明编剧能力有限。

整体没什么出色的表现，但电信诈骗专家的表现还是能留下一些记忆点的。
故事讲得真心不精彩，因为没有侧重没有凸出，甚至有迎合的用心。硝烟事件其实在《中国近代史》里可以看到完整的事件过程，而我自己对鸦片的生意原本就有兴趣，只是离开学校之后才有机会得以了解。现在觉得应该补齐鸦片的工艺制作，差不多就可以在心里告一段落，放下这块石头。2021-09-24

细节满分，片中引用了很多林则徐的语录，最后销烟的场景让我想到了历史书籍上的画面，值得再加一星。

每个人都有巅峰时期，对于谢苗来说，他的巅峰时期就是少年跟李连杰搭档做绿叶的时候。事过境迁必然辉煌不再，哪怕是这一部在很多人看来蟹苗有起色的作品。
