The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 武居，为什么你这么优秀！这他喵的才叫结局，才叫剧场版！人物塑造分明，队员们有缜密的配合，新队长的身份有伏笔，打戏观感优秀，中间甚至有整活！完全碾压TV版。
熟肉已看完，爆杀tv本篇，可以给个7.5-8分。但因为这是首个追的奥，所以加一颗星
新生代剧场版之前只看过令迦那一部，包括这一部，是真的毫无意思啊

小时候说奥特曼幼稚但那时候的反倒有水平，大起来对奥特曼有兴趣了结果真变成智障片了，令人感叹。这个所谓特别篇最大的意义在于让那些在追这部屎一样的电视剧的过程中难免对主要角色产生斯德哥尔摩式感情的观众们得以看到这班人马演一个离及格线近了那么一点的故事，这么说的确是比TV版有看头多了
你TV的小白屋變身如果用特別篇里這個角度，我估計特利迦TV的分數能再漲0.5分左右。不能說多麼的完美但是，足夠把TV和那個誰按在地板反復摩擦了吧？有致敬有情懷，TV稀爛的人物設定在特別篇也圓的還算讓人滿意，沒有思麥魯的乾巴巴的復讀，HE每個人都發自內心的微笑，你早這麼拍不就完事了嗎？拜拜啦，我們德凱TV再見
比TV版好太多了！这部剧场版的质量应该算奥特曼里上乘的了吧
近些年来做的不错的特别篇（剧场版），什么都有了，唯一的缺点就是受制于本篇的制约，你能在一座废墟上盖多好的房子呢？
每个人都可以变成光，但孤身一人终究无法闪耀…

有点平淡但不乏质感…一边看一边想到红与黑克里斯朵夫道连格雷等等…副标题可以是法国大革命期间的新闻史，男主很美
把这个看作是特利迦大结局会好一些，邪特还是有那么帅！
上映当天看的中字熟肉，剧情不错紧凑流畅，泽塔又来了哈哈哈，缺点是有点但比TV强
勉勉强强 比tv大结局好 连影的味儿太重了 以至于观众都能猜到邪特下一秒要干什么(=_=)
比TV的观感好多了，剧情的话感觉还行。
