The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 其实还蛮真实的，但是没有讲他最终退役后做了啥？

苏桦伟的经历本身已经很动人。虽然这部戏拍得soso。男主角演得蛮好的。当妈妈是一场终身修行。
人物虽多，但多数角色推动剧情的作用太明显，不够丰满。重点着墨还是在母子情，整体配乐泛滥，节奏前快后慢，起伏的冲击力不够。近年港片每年都出部运动题材，这一部在其中算不上优秀。因为广告和告白而导致的操场冲突戏，吴君如的包包提带一会儿是拧的一会儿是顺的，穿帮明显，搞得我好出戏。PS：张继聪的扮相我觉得好像张震啊。
中规中矩 想讲很多问题 又好像什么都没讲。
2.母子情
除了特效比较跨,还算是出色的传记片,聚焦于残障运动员这样的小众群体,每一次的进步和努力都比常人更为艰辛,同时在生活和荣耀上的抉择让人纠结,而妈妈这个角色才是影片的核心,最后两人争吵的对话是真正的高潮.
最末尾有个感动点。
不是妈妈的神奇小子，是小子的神奇妈妈。对不起。
同工不同酬，出现在每一个角落。希望以后能有改善的可能。电影本身就是完成而已。
但影片还是存在煽情略重的问题，虽然没那么刻意，但音乐铺得太满，技巧不够成熟。最爱的一句台词“同我条命一样，我就喺要喺后边追上嚟。”
可惜劳模刘德华并没有像唐探3那样，作为隐藏彩蛋出现
“一刹那的光辉不代表永恒。”
