The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 后段人物弧光的塑造基本靠暴力和解释性说教对白完成。前者完成度还不错，后者就差挺多意思了。
很好的剧情片。不能大规模放映挺可惜的。难得有引发思考而且剧本细节充足的片子。给10为鼓励坚持在这艰难的国内环境生存。

见识到了开场十二分钟的长镜头，二十年弹指一挥间，导演在时间的处理上非常好。又一个人被时间改变的故事，最后的每一刀都是救赎。
