一个黑人家长信仰成功学并施之于孩子的故事，没有以往竞技体育题材的澎湃，拍的四平八稳。传奇之处是传主自身创造的传奇。
7.0 麻麻得，大小威鸡娃史。在处理比赛的影视化呈现时并没有创新和电影性的适应。好在故事本身的流传度和最后开门一刹那不胜之胜的表现力。
真好，有个老爸一直坚持在身边告诉你，“我相信你”，“你一定是最棒的”。一部不错的家庭教育片。我老爸一辈子都没和我说过一次这样的话。

其实有些矛盾，但也许这才是人生本该有的样子。

最开始到处求爷爷告奶奶找教练有点当幸福来敲门，后来我看出来他是要训练两个女儿又有点摔跤爸爸。全片我在等高潮和冲突，没有。最后才知道是真实改编，好吧那没那么多跌宕起伏也很正常。打网球的看也许会更激动吧。
抛开奥斯卡最佳男主角 最后的影像资料更叫人激动
电影拍得还是比较励志的，信念和鼓励很重要。
除了要女儿接受教育外，这片一点都不讨喜，男主自己说要谦逊却跑去坑教练，不到最後段根本是个专横，自以为自己最懂的货，就算两个女儿成功了，只看这片我根本看不出男主哪里是King(蛮横度倒是对上了)。
