For 27-year-old Ben (Josh Lawson), life couldn’t be better. A well paid job, friends, parties, girls and nothing to tie him down. But when he is invited back to his old school to join several other ex-students including Alex (Rachael Taylor) and Jim (Ed Kavalee) in talking about their personal achievements, something goes wrong. Ben is the only speaker not to be asked a question by the school kids. This triggers a year of soulsearching and looking for answers in all the wrong places.
From his best friend Andy (Christian Clark) whose solution is that they both take another holiday, to his mentor Sam (Lachy Hulme) who loans him a sports car in the belief that there’s nothing like excessive speed to resolve emotional turmoil. Not even Ben’s father (Rob Carlton) or friends Nick (Daniel Henshall) and Em (Felicity Ward) can offer much in the way of meaningful guidance.
Of course, it’s not easy seeking enlightenment in nightclubs, or on the ski fields of New Zealand, and when you start dating a Russian tennis star things can get really complicated. As the poster boy for a generation desperate to tick every box, Ben begins to suspect that the meaning of life may well reside in the things he's already doing - and a girl he used to know.
养眼的复古时尚MV，“前程似锦女孩”的同病相怜，凶杀为灵感的时装秀本是个不错的点子，但影片中这种直白复制远不如去看看McQueen的开膛手杰克和Highland Rape秀。
前部分没什么吸引力，后部分真相渐渐露出水面，中间部分惊悚程度还可以。
有人看了《未麻的部屋》，拍了一部《黑天鹅》，现在应该不会有人看了《黑天鹅》，而拍一部《Soho区夜惊魂》吧。
视听配乐构图绝佳，就是节奏太快了，慢一点气氛会更强烈些。安雅太美了，眼睛完全离不开她～

前半段太棒了，色彩布景剧情交替都抓眼球，中段过于冗长混乱智商捉急，不过结尾好评！“help us”“no”“I know”几句太喜欢了，直接拔高~~五光十色的画面感舞台感都太喜欢了~~中段再剪掉一些就好了~~
一群死男人们活该
全球新晉實力+流量小花安雅的加盟是我看這部影片最大的原因，所以發現有「神秘博士」和山姆·克拉弗林助陣的確也是不小的驚喜。現實和過去畫面的交替，姑娘對於過去那個復古時代的留戀，本以為會是另一場動人的「午夜倫敦」，誰料到最後半小時是狗尾續貂，原來以為的歌舞劇到最後竟成了鉛黃片的典型。
前期电影感可以，光影和调度都挺抓人，后面有点自暴自弃了吧……

感觉从《我们》来的一面镜子照见一个人的两个后脑勺这个创意被发扬光大了，粉色的裙子配金色蓬蓬的头发加上Downtown的舞蹈的安雅太美了。以及果然酒吧小妹乱蓬蓬的头发和浓厚的眼妆不值一提练成的。一百次的死亡之后都练成平和的绝望了，安雅的悲惨也太好哭了。
3.5🌟要不是结尾崩了.....原可以是更棒的作品
but，导演挺会玩，起码有意思叭，谈不上惊艳但有点惊喜。
看的很舒服。虽然说埃德加赖特标志性的剪辑风格和黑色幽默完全没在此片展现，但是片中靠音乐和镜像制造的转场足够扳回一成，人物和空间的转换都很流畅，尤其是那场双人舞戏的调度足见功力，两个女演员的发挥都很出色，霓虹风格加金曲串烧也保证了视听上的双重享受，但是影片的文本的确是减分项，靠镜子投射营造出来的悬疑感在向恐怖片转换后逐渐弱化，反转的支撑力也不够，大团圆的这个结局设计也让本来突出的女性悲剧减了分，有点可惜。（8/10）
《隐形人》之后最好的女性主义类型片。受害者变成加害者，和曾经的加害者在日和夜里轮番加害当代女性，既是寓言，也是现实。文本意义上，这部片比《隐形人》走得更远。
还挺喜欢，故事略微老套了一点，但是Mckenzie妹子挺亮眼的。
导演的镜头语言真的不是一般的高级 配乐也是真的好听哭
继《宝宝司机》后，赖特对自身风格A级化的进一步尝试，大抵就是一个玩家将爱好变成饭碗后，开始一本正经整活的正常体现。女性议题的营造粗暴却完整，至于那些蒙太奇上的看家功夫，只能说作为好他这口的还会一直吃，但少了先前的鬼马轻盈，多少还是有些遗憾的。
女主的智商和天分成反比啊，复仇正常，但是也不能不问名字就给人搞死啊。。。
Rather disappointing. The whole thing is wrapped up in such elaborate lavishness and meticulous homage that one could hardly find a single shred of spontaneous fun. Edgar Wright is so steeped in film history by this point that he seems to have already lost his own originality.
