The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 《鸭先知》很搞笑啊，上海复古风，画面色调很饱满鲜艳。
都去掉结尾其实都挺好的，因此暴露了主旋律电影只为说教不为艺术的意图。

大概这种单元拼盘也不会出什么亮点了，到这部来讲，形式上做的高质量，故事却非常平。前两部重在历史和使命，后两部重在情感与教育，以冲突开头，以离别结尾，鸭先知倒是融入了父子合作，以行动影响后代，但是整体看下来，都太过仓促了。
后面两个就是徐峥和沈腾，他俩很有个人特点的偏喜剧段子。
第三部分徐峥鸭先知，看得懂在讲中国第一部广告片诞生记，姑且不较真事件的真实性，当看到100'爸爸，这是送您的父亲，我还是开心地乐了。

温情与热血，旧时代与新未来。诗是全篇最好的故事，情感真实，感动人心。徐峥的故事好看、得乐、轻松。其他两个故事比较单薄。
《少年行》这段乍看起来是沈腾式的喜剧片，细想起来文本上对标的是《菊次郎的夏天》。其他单元的父辈都是大人，沈腾单元的父辈是小孩。沈腾的大人是未来的子辈。从点题来看更具有创意和想法。
