The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 我们为炫耀技艺，“人定胜天”，在山民的母亲身上建城，她是所有山民的始祖母，她的女儿们从未远离，即使我们迫使她睡在地底，即使我们的围墙将她们隔离。我希望她能醒来，与她的女儿们在月光下行走；人类的城池终将消亡，这一天必然到来，却遥遥无期。
主旨为母爱，挺适合全家人聚在一起看看的，尽管还没看希尔达这部剧，但是依然不影响其温馨爆表。
剧情低幼又温暖，永远感动于希尔达和她伙伴的勇敢坚定，母爱是这个剧的主题
以为城墙会被推倒，然而最后达成协议是一年允许进一次城。他们的母亲依然被困在地底下。是在讽刺人类自以为是的宽容吗？

猛男必看，不太适于没有前面看过剧集的观众，所以基本是粉丝电影。但高墙之后是无限的温柔。猛男必看希尔达
巨魔开花的那一段真的很美，可惜情节转变的过于生硬，和动漫还是差了点

优点其实还是沿袭自剧集里的那些，自然流畅的画风，童趣又不低幼，但这个剧场版的故事只能说是无功无过吧。

依旧温馨且充满想象力。Hilda变成troll后的新鲜感和陌生感交杂在一起，矛盾微妙情绪的背后是看待troll的世界的新视角。和人类一样有各种各样的巨魔，好的坏的蠢的。故事不长，结尾略显仓促，但还是被母爱的故事狠狠感动到了。长眠于地下守护孩子的troll mother，有一些温暖。爱，一直都在。
渐入佳境型，前面的铺垫和节奏有些抓不住人。
确实没有TV版有味儿。
后面节奏有点快呀，不过还是很爱的。
