The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 披着科幻皮的痴汉寻爱片，格局小了，节奏也拖沓，毁了一个好的设定。
故事构思和开篇的浪漫设计都挺吸引人，可惜后面的拖沓节奏和不忍直视的动作设计直接将影片沦为了平庸之作。。。
在宏大的故事背景下扯些情情爱爱，格局也太小了

一片情深得让人无法理解，那个科幻设定也很一般。
剧情的构思和展开还是好的，但是空有一个高概念，所有元素都杂糅混沌在一起，没有面目清晰的轮廓和呼之欲出的主题，没有打磨和执行好，实在是太可惜了。

浪漫又伤感，谁不想重温人生中最美好的回忆。如果说银翼杀手是爱情文艺外壳下的科幻片，本片就是科幻外壳包裹下的爱情文艺片，不要抱着想看科幻片的预期去看它。

很多导演现在都喜欢披着各种外衣去讲一个很简单的故事，比如小蜘蛛在外星的混沌行走，比如本电影是未来水世界的背景下的一个谋杀案，创新很枯竭。
