The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 剧情闹着玩一样，经典日式动不动尬梗，女主很像陈乔恩哎，剧情节奏设计的有点平，最后的高潮也太简单了，不过打斗还真挺不错的。（或许是资本的犬儒生活下艺术就会偏向于颓丧吧。）
上小学的时候在《舰船知识》杂志上看过这个故事，但电影拍的并不好
整体还是比较工整，真实事件改编为电影多添了一分喜剧感。

主线剧情虽然挺胡闹的，不过也很契合全片的氛围与风格吧，感觉这种带点无厘头又带点冷幽默的喜剧确实很有日式的感觉。
感情戏很没必要，以为后来真对行动产生啥影响，结果也只是虚惊一场虚张声势，在她家的拷问也是拍了个寂寞。。。那这些戏都可以砍掉毫不影响观看
