A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

拍给abc看的，所以共鸣点不多，场景很漂亮，母亲的造型很刻板，更像民国的妈妈，居然还有满清的装饰，旗袍可以接受。不过，对于歪果仁这个设计已经很好了！

看的是一直被可爱到，但好像也仅限于此了。虽然和母亲的和解，dddd。但是先看影评再看电影，没想到大家吹爆的隐喻，这么浅显的吗……
青春成长不只多角恋、堕胎、自杀，还有同辈的压力，家庭的束缚，象征意味明明白白，恰到好处，人物可爱，情节轻松，愉快的观影体验。
对这份工作太理想化了。不过我也相信，高端的鸭，应该是半个心理咨询师。
非常俗套的成长故事。东亚母亲：有超强的控制欲+为家庭宁愿牺牲自己丢失自我；东亚女儿：顺从+压抑自我。人物设定还是停留在很浅层的刻板印象上，这种偷懒令人不适。女儿最后的转变突兀又生硬。furry red panda象征找寻自我？象征青春的欲望？象征叛逆？说不清，总觉得有点简单粗暴了。从Coco到Soul到Luca到Turing Red，越来越失望，不过皮克斯也不能部部都高水准发挥吧，就那样了。
五分给turning red的女性团队，支持女性力量。电影里为什么选择说的广东话而不是中文呢。华裔让人亲切，但华裔不是中国人。把红色棕熊比喻成青春期对自己产生印象的各种情绪是形象的拟人方式。从始至终，都是妈妈让妹妹尴尬，一个是带着她去找Devon无地自容的恋爱幻想，第二个是带卫生巾去学校，然后妹妹逃回家在屋顶上跑着说自己要躲起来。最后让我感动的点就是妈妈也经历过美美经历的一切，想想就很心酸，但妈妈还是成为了外婆的样子。对于华裔女性的刻画我个人不是很喜欢，就很强势和完美主义。
太好了，真的太好了，我的本届圣丹斯最爱片没有之一，科幻都得往后稍稍！ 一个60+女性招嫖20+小鲜肉的故事，整个影片几乎都发生在一个宾馆套房内，几乎全程大段对话，但一点都不无聊，反而充满了真诚的、敏感的、互相尊重的接纳和认可。艾玛汤普森和男演员的化学反应让我一直面带笑意，两个人都善良和尊重彼此，但又完全没有落入你好我好大家好的窠臼，而是因为彼此年龄与观念的不同拉扯出了别样的张力。他们从情欲谈到彼此，谈到两对母子关系，谈到欲望，人生的盼头，还有遗憾。两个角色之间的关系一直不断地在流动，实在是太难做好了，但是真的完成得太好了。 片子结尾，艾玛汤普森全裸地站在镜子前，我们看到她爬满皱纹的眼角，下垂的乳房，不再曼妙的身姿，但正是在这一刻我觉得她美得发光。“我的每一道皱纹里都写满了故事。”
20220320 又名《四城临加国，五鼠闹多京》……感觉是北美东亚研究graduate student最爱用来写论文的那种片子。影片最核心的设定是把华裔的特定种族文化传统萌化为一只怪兽，同时这一主体悖论地受到被普遍认为不应属于亚裔的激动情绪影响，可能向完全失控的方向转化。这个巧思将女孩在多元文化环境中的成长与如何处理这种异质传统之间设置了矛盾。影片的结果必然是女孩和体内的怪物共存。巧思之外，这一家庭的生活还是显得有限抽离，不确定哪个华裔是这么活的，而事实上，父亲的角色也十分可疑。
就问这么软fufu的小熊猫谁不想rua！！
对于文化的深刻反思，虽然熊猫那么可爱，却觉得如此沉重到要落泪的程度，我们终其一生都无法摆脱他人对自己的期待，尤其是亲人期待的目光，那用爱铸成的枷锁，片子还结合了另一个话题，如何面对我们自身的不完美，与自我和解。最近几年看皮克斯总有种命题作文的感觉，可能是想要表达的都太高大上了吧。其实结合得还蛮好的。
这也太好了，太可爱了没人会不喜欢红熊猫。非常中式的命题，太适合和家人一起看……（有没有用就另说了）（宇宙的终极：I’m proud of you）
小熊猫还是很萌的，故事依然很俗套，刻板印象不少。
挺流畅的可以给四星， 但是刻板还是刻板啊，主要是宗族概念在大陆特别是北方么有那么共情，一些海外华人聚居区的封建残余其实挺深的，封建残余还是传统文化看你怎么看待了，重要的不是外在的物。所以到底什么才是中国传统文化及其表现？什么才是健康的家庭关系？这个东西其实并无定论，也无教条。有时候需要自己被社会毒打才可能明白，然后看淡这一切。别的不说了，就说亚裔不努力在自身有优势的领域多学习，难道要学黑人零元购？你现在脑海里能想躺平，想我的青春我做主，是因为至少你有资格想，你还有一定的选择权。
第三幕极大缓解了“形态”过度复古的第一幕带来的cringe
