没看过原著漫画，所以不知道动画版跟真人版哪个更还原，但动画版的世界设定太过风格化，显得亚当斯一家并没有那么特别，反倒是真人版中，对于旁人贴近真实的形象设计和背景设定更能衬托出亚当斯一家的另类和诡异；另外，虽然大家都很喜欢阴郁、腹黑的星期三，但情绪平稳、面容冷峻的设定让她在作主角时很难带动观众的情绪起伏，让剧情变得昏昏欲睡，还有怎么感觉拍成了女版谢耳朵呢。
