The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 又焦虑又治愈，先入为主地认为凡妮莎还是适合歌舞片。
不太能理解，这样的表达方式只是为了抓取角色在特定场景的心理？感觉看得累，加菲也演得累。没找到进入这电影的方式…高兴加菲被提名了，但电影本身真能帮他一把吗？
歌好听，加菲演技好绝，梦想很美好也很残酷，幸而我们见证了一个梦想的成功，同时也为那些曾经奋斗过但没有实现的梦想鼓掌。
时间滴答，看起来总是不够用，我们究竟要怎么从梦想与现实抽脱？有时所有破事总会在一刻爆发，鱼和熊掌不能兼得，而这一切都有所选择。

碎片剪辑叙事有些不连贯，但就如听音乐一般。梦想和现实、情感的碰擦在女友肩上的手指节奏上达到顶峰
与lalaland遥相呼应；导演对“舞台”的掌控力一流；加菲 is soooo underrated（心目中最佳还是Angels in American，神级本子和制作，加菲也奉献了无与伦比的表演！）
作为歌舞片，本片是绝对“好听”的，好听到爆的那种！
