The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 有几幕挺缝合怪的，但是也无所谓了，这不比春节其他电影燃？
延续以往动画的风格，各种夸张搞笑的桥段设计，笑点密集，喜欢乐天派的女婿，变成怪物依然保持本心，拥有旺盛的活力。
这部电影看似是终章，但我有理由怀疑索尼会继续出动画版作为后续营销。

怪物版《带见岳父大人》+《阿呆拜寿》，标准的工业剧情套路，一群能人+一个傻子+一系列前后反转反差（失去魔法、升级到失去意识的魔法）=简单的爆笑。一部适合小朋友的电影，尤其适合父女观看。PS：失去魔法的怪兽，以真面目示人的不习惯，很像被识破ID的社牛。
比第三部好看，不过剧情已经渐渐脱离了旅社本身，开启了冒险，甚至是公路历险的路数。又一个动画系列结束了，谢谢十年的陪伴。

这个制作，能看出花功夫了，7分。故事还是不够。没有同期喜羊羊热血，另外也有点其他故事的影子。

正片居然还不足80分钟，但是却如此难熬，情节都蛮没劲的，编完这个结局也是辛苦了，可以拍但没必要。
