Summary
Bullied by his matriarchal mother, abused by his siblings, ignored by his father, Poil de Carotte's childhood is as miserable as it could be. An illegitimate child, he is the main reason for the enmity which exists between his parents, who continue to live together just to keep up appearances. In the end, Poil de Carotte's suffering becomes more than he can bear...
Review
Drawing heavily on the poignant novel by Jules Renard on which it is based, Poil de carotte is a modest yet appealing film which has stood the test of time mainly because of the quality of its acting performances and its inherent humanity. It is more memorable than Julien Duvivier's earlier silent version of 1925, also named Poil de Carotte.
The part of Poil de Carotte was played by 11 year old Robert Lynen, who was alleged to have been discovered whilst walking down the Champs-Elysées in Paris. Lynen is totally captivating and the film made him an instant star, launching what looked like becoming a very promising film career – until he was shot dead whilst fighting against the Germans in 1944. Harry Baur, a legendary stage and film actor (who also died during World War II, allegedly at the hands of the Gestapo), also turns in a typically fine performance. The reconciliation between father and son at the end of the film provides its most enduring image, enough to melt the heart of all but the most stoical of spectators.
「深沉而轻盈」，这应该是很舒缓的一部电影，可惜我最近太焦灼不安了，这100分钟里我时而睡着，时而切换去做别的事情，实在不能静下心来。不能在对话里获得慰藉，不能感受到关系的修复和延伸，我浪费了这部电影。
黑白色彩看的人很难受，这种题材彩色会更好看，没必要为了文艺选择黑白。
非常舒服、温柔的一部电影。城市里各种场景的切换，叔侄之间的日常对话和相处细节，侄子的每一个提问，不断推着人思考。Phoenix真的太神了，上一秒感觉他随时要癫狂成小丑，下一秒他举着麦克风自言自语的时候又幻化成爱上AI的那个男人。每一个都是他。
分不清真实的边界在哪，可控的范围在哪，崩溃的握拳时机在哪。就是生活。

华金·菲尼克斯和电影的气质太贴切了，每一句台词、每一个表情都十分有味道，令人沉思、深思和反思。四星。
很舒服又有爱的电影，华金菲尼克斯和小男孩的互动很温暖，故事和节奏不是特别吸引人，但很多台词写的很棒，喜欢里面对小朋友们的采访片段，单拎出来做成纪录片一定会非常有趣…3.5
NYC is better than LA. 也没有多好，但就是感觉四星少了。
其中的采访让我想到了我和我老弟的对话。我当时问他他有什么幻想的英雄，他的回答和我在他那个年纪的回答极为相似。我们都渴望一颗星球，一个帅气高大的英雄形象，一个超速豪华小型飞船，还有无敌的设定。

适合一个人窝在角落看的电影，两代人心灵伤痛的症结沟通。导演从一开始就埋下的暗线：以原生家庭为起点的生长环境给后代以及后代的后代酿造的悲剧。性格深处的伤痕塑造了人的方方面面，引来或是被引向相似的人，然而悲哀的是没有人能够解决这一切，在自我挣扎中走向灭亡仿佛是宿命。
不似《婚姻故事》般热烈，不似《海边的曼彻斯特》般阴郁，不似《废柴舅舅》般搞怪，两个怪胎的相互陪伴，这是再平常不过的剧本。
7分，很温情的电影，你照顾别人的同时也是也是在疗愈自己。
B 与上次看的贝尔法斯特同为黑白片，也都是孩子为故事主体，但不同的是c'mon c'mon的黑白选择出奇的好，镜头下投射出叔侄日常生活的高潮和低谷，成长与现实之间的碰撞，LA的阳光普照对比出NY街景的脏乱，亦或者沙滩漫步，道路斑驳，树林郁郁葱葱，都能更好的去呼应人物情感变化，自然而舒服...
“我不会记得吗？” “我希望你记得。我会提醒你的。”
非常温柔的一部电影，娓娓道来，又像是叔侄的互相治愈之旅，很真诚很可爱，看得很舒服
大龄舅与幼童甥的差异、沟通和情感，用黑白色调展现，很有味道。摄影不错。
