The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     哈哈2021版的what a shit show，不得不说在幽默这件事上，美国人还是得管英国人叫爸爸。本片就一高考作文微小说式的讽刺，简单粗暴，保证阅卷老师在几十秒的阅读时间里明白自己在讽刺啥，最好还能笑一笑，就算糊弄过去了。

    首先，这不是个喜剧，这是个悲剧。这出悲剧之外更悲的是，以为看透一切的好莱坞，把矛头仅仅指向某届administration，而不是当下整体的人类状态。

    裹着喜剧外衣的大型政治灾难片，元旦贺岁喜剧一点也不喜，挺悲的其实。包括最后主角一桌坐在桌前等灰飞烟灭都很让人感到悲伤。另外这个片子最不合理的部分不应该是BASH的飞碟机计划都完蛋了，为什么太空环游竟然能成功呢。大表姐的演出令人眼前一亮，靓了一整部片子，这个妆发实在是太适合她了。
